
Living Waters Lutheran Church Youth Education Spring 2023
Classes will meet on Wednesday nights.
Pizza is served from 5:30-6 pm for $1 a slice. Group meets together for music at 6 pm. Classes then divide into groups.
PreK-3rd grade – led by Michelle Berkovich and Jo Lundrigan. Parents are welcome to stay with their kids!
4th-6th grades –We need teachers for this age group. Please consider volunteering!
7th-8th grades – led by Kirsten Stiegel.
9th grade – led by Pastor Jake.
Our theme for this semester is prayer.
Bible Verse: Philippians 4:6 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
NO CLASSES DURING LENT
April 12 – Regular classes resume
April 19 – Regular class
April 26 – Mentor Night for students in 7th-9th grade. Invite your mentor for pizza and discussion. Regular class for PreK-6th graders.
May 3 – Regular class
May 10 – End of year celebration!
Education Requirements for 7-9th graders Winter/Spring 2023:
- 10 worship notes – notes are near the hanging folders outside of the church office.
- Earn 20 points – helping during church services, community service projects, bringing in food shelf items.
- Meet with your mentor in fall and spring.
- Attend classes and/or complete make-up lessons.
For PreK-6th graders we just look forward to having you in class!
Our service project for this semester will be collecting school supplies for SRR Schools.

Leading Wednesday Education is a minimal time commitment that, in turn, makes a maximum impact on the lives of LWLC youth as they grow into a deeper understanding of their faith.
