Reality of Aging: Hard Conversations and Planning

Each stage of life comes with its own challenges. For those who have the privilege of growing older, the unique challenges later in life are not always addressed in an attempt to escape the reality of aging. Bethlehem Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, is hosting a free seminar for the community that that will get older adults, caregivers, and children with aging parents, Engaging Aging so that they are equipped for Aging with a Flourish! Keynote Speaker Dr. Steve Hoover, Professor Emeritus SCSU will present “Engaging Aging” from 9:15 to 10:15am. Following the Keynote two rotations of breakout sessions will explore: housing transitions as we age, self-care for caregivers, and demystifying dementia. Beginning at 8:30am and throughout the morning check out the Resource Fair of community partners offering information on Senior Housing, Hospice, Volunteerism, Social Engagement, and Health & Wellness.
