Cheri Satre, MA Cheri earned a degree in Art Therapy from the Univ. of IL at Chicago and worked in a variety of settings with children, families and developmentally disabled adults. After struggling with an eating disorder and seeking treatment, Cheri was assigned to an admin temp job at the eating disorders program at the University of NE Hospitals. Her experiences there helped develop an interest in body image and self esteem issues in women and girls. After moving to MN, Cheri became the Communication Coordinator at Living Waters Lutheran Church which opened up opportunities for women’s ministries. Cheri facilitated women’s bible studies and women’s retreats. In 2006, after reading "Body Wars: Making Peace with Women's Bodies," by Margo Maine, Cheri was inspired to do something in the community to address the problems women and girls have with their body image and self esteem. Cheri is a mother of two girls. Contact Cheri at cheri@lwlcmn.org | Tauna Quimby Tauna Quimby never passes up a lemonade stand.
